GOD HEARD YOU GROAN; YOU'RE NOT ALONE!

Each week we face various circumstances, to challenge our faith and help us to grow into mature people.

When trials happen, we shouldn’t think it strange, because God told us in his word it would happen.

We shouldn’t always throw a fit, whenever things don’t fit into our schedule or budget.

A few weeks ago our dishwasher began to make a horrible groaning sound.

We tried to ignore it at first, but soon we had to admit the dishwasher was not going to last much longer.

Inwardly we were groaning as well, because a little over a year ago, we’d spent a lot of money to fix the dishwasher by replacing the pump and motor.

We wanted to avoid a mess of water all over the floor; like the last time the dishwasher broke, so we went down to the store to buy a new one.

The delivery men came within a few days, and after the installation, we were so happy to hear how quiet the new one was, compared to the old model.

That night however, when I went to get something under the sink, I discovered a pipe was leaking, and I had a big mess to clean up.

Evidently, when the men were installing the dishwasher, they wrenched too hard on one of the pipes and it had cracked.

The next day, the company sent a repair man to fix the leaky pipe, and apologize for their error.

Sometimes, even when we try to be proactive to avoid a mess or conflict, it still happens.

When it does, God wants us to be kind and merciful to those who make mistakes or make us wait.

Jesus said, Blessed are the merciful, for they will receive mercy.

Our Father wants us to pray and cast our cares to him, because he cares for us.

The Bible says in...Psalm 38:9

Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee.

God understands life is rough at times and sent the Holy Spirit to help us to pray the right way, when we’re tired and weary. He comforts and encourages us, so we don’t give up hope.

The Bible says in Romans 8:26
Likewise, the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

It gives me great comfort to remember that Mary, the mother of Jesus, probably groaned when she and Joseph had to travel to Bethlehem to register and pay unexpected taxes.

They probably groaned inwardly, when no one would give them a room to deliver their baby... and yet, in the midst of it all... God sent angels, shepherds, and wise men to encourage and help them in their time of need.

So how is your day going beloved?

Are you trying to be patient, but inwardly groaning and moaning for God to bring relief from the agony you’re going through?

Perhaps someone has made a big mess, and you feel bitter about having to clean it up.

God sees your tears and understands when we feel afraid or lonely.

Call to your Father in heaven for help and wisdom about your problems.

Ask the Holy Spirit to help you pray, praise and give thanks, while you’re waiting for your breakthrough.

Seasons change and when they do... you’ll find God has given you a new and improved motivation for living life to the fullest.Remember you are loved, and I’m praying for you...

Thank you God, for another day.

That Jesus' blood, washed my sins away.

My sins are now as white as snow.

The bonds of guilt, I no longer know.

For when life's tests, try to confound me...

I open God's word, and the Spirit surrounds me.

It lights my path, through the examples of parables..

And makes my life, calm and bearable.

Happy and joyful, I now can be...

If I look to the manual, God left for me.

The map of the word, shows me the way.

To a brighter tomorrow, and a beautiful today!

God bless and keep you safely in his loving arms of protection!
